Incredibly funny, Ashley and yes, people who bury themselves in TV, newspaper, etc are continually brainwashed negatively. I am thrilled that my children are not controlled by such nonsense and are eager to learn things that make them THINK and act according to good common sense and good moral values..........Not because they were persuaded by a TV show or commercial......or news hype! Great stuff sister! Yes, these are real ads, and it's so nuts that this stuff was PC back then. I've studied this stuff a lot in my branding/marketing studies over the years.

It will be interesting to see if Rupert Murdoch, head of News Corporation (Fox news) actually goes down for everything the human rights orgs are trying to take him down for. It would be a big, and unlikely, fall. He's almost too powerful to take down. But, it could happen, especially in this type of environment (internet, social networks, people power, etc).

He is one of the biggest media moguls we've ever had, and also one of the most tyrannical. Ethics have no place in his world. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/2162658.stm.

Anyway, I'm always following what is going on in the media, and I always approach it from the perspective that it has as much power to go good as it does evil.
