You&#39;ll have plenty of opportunities for moments like those - and you&#39;re doing just fine. None of us as parents could be perfectly prepared for times when the uniqueness of our children bursts through. I remember so well the years of you wearing glasses and how it broke my heart to see how you thought that made you look. And yet Mom and I thought your being able to see should definitely outweigh your vanity at that age. But then we were excited with you as we anticipated that special time when we had agreed you could get laser surgery.
