Meet Ashley: Mama Rose
Ashley Logsdon
Authenticity Enthusiast
Family Story-Writer
Life Long Learner and Lover of Life
Have you ever walked into your home and you felt there were a bunch of crazy aliens around you just flat didn't get?
I am an authenticity enthusiast. The kicker, however, is how to be authentically you while still connecting with others in a meaningful way. That's what I love to dive into.
I coach and educate families on understanding their personality styles and how the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us.
Seth Godin states, "Instead of wondering when your next vacation will be, why not create a life you don't want to escape from?"
Parents, walk with me and identify your strengths...and also your triggers - to live with intention and not simply reaction to the chaos of an ever-growing family. Let's create a life - and relationships - you love to come home to!
As an unschooling mama of three, I know how much energy it takes to parent. Throw in the fact that I run two businesses and we've been RVing the states full-time since 2016, and you have a recipe for chaos and overwhelm, right?
But I'm living proof that it doesn't have to be this way. No, my life isn't always unicorns and rainbows...but then again, I wouldn't have it any other way. My magic secret? Communicate intention, find gratitude. Bringing those two key elements to my awareness are total game-changers.
If you want to learn more about what I mean by this, dig deeper into this website. Listen to the podcast, check out my blog (it always complements the podcast episode that goes along with it), and make sure you're signed up for the weekly newsletter for the summary of the best from the week.
I take families from surviving to thriving by helping them uncover how "the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us". As I guide parents through identifying their strengths - and also their triggers - it opens to the door to connection. Even with children, we parents have to remember our own voice in the home.
Wouldn't it be nice to embrace spontaneity and fun, feeling refreshed and ready instead of simple reaction to the chaos you can't get ahead of?
It's okay. I've got your back. Let's do this.
Motherhood…parenthood is the most important job in the world – and yet we all are navigating this critical job on top of everything else – running a household, work, taking care of yourself, maintaining and growing a harmonious relationship with your partner.
For the past 20 years I have run my father Dan Miller’s business, 48 Days. My forte is specifically in the area of personality styles and utilizing the DISC profile reports. After spending years helping other coaches build their coaching businesses, it was time for me to launch my own – thus Mama Says Namaste was born! I’d spend so much time after work events with 48 Days taking couples to the side to talk with them about their profile graphs and how to navigate the waters of marriage in an entrepreneurial household, and I found that I truly came alive when I was able to talk about marriage and family.
My focus is in these key areas:
What is Success?
By Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded!
What Others Are Saying About Ashley
From the first call, I got more than what I expected, and am so fulfilled with my coaching experience. I needed a trusted and reputable accountability partner - I ended up with so much more. I wanted a coach because I was so concerned for myself that I lacked direction and was in a state of overwhelm. Today, I’m only overwhelmed with all the possibilities, and am already heading in a fulfilling direction. This journey I am on, I am so grateful and honored to have Ashley at my side. While I am also discovering my own true calling, it is so very beautifully evident what Ashley’s is. The best investment I made in myself, is having Ashley as my coach.
Coaching Client
I deeply admire Ashley. She has encouraged me to make educated decisions in my parenting. Without Ashley, I wouldn't have changed the trajectory of my decision regarding the delivery of my son, which ended up being the most empowering experience of my life."
New Mama
This is just a quick note to say thank you for your blog. I am an "unschooler" homeschooler and I am so happy to have found your site. I am also in Tennessee and it seems resources for my family are slim when it comes to communion unless I subscribe to church groups. You gave me hope! Homeschooling is filled with doubt and it is harder to navigate when you choose an untraditional route -- especially when no one else seems to be of the same mind set. We also joined the Farm Satellite Campus and really dig their "do as you will" approach. All of this to say, thank you for the time you put into this blog."
