No Excuses
We have been RVing the States full time for over a year now. This past year, we’ve seen 40 states. We’ve banded saw-whet owls in Virginia, seen an epic shark frenzy off the coast of Plymouth Rock, and witnessed an incredible super-bloom in Joshua Tree. We are living life in full color…quite literally.
Yep, our life is pretty splendid. You might say we are surrounded by rainbows and unicorns. We live a charmed life that sparkles and shines, and others should be just green with envy. But please – don’t make excuses.Â
Don’t envy us. You have your own life to live.
Our life isn’t so different from the possibility of what yours can be.
Don’t just wait around for “one day.” You have the power to choose your right now, and your future. If you dream of travel, put a date on it. No excuses. You can find a way. Even if its years off, simply putting a date down takes you that much closer to fruition.
If you’re hoping for rest and ease, relaxation and time to play, it’ll stay a hope until you make it so. Go ahead and work it into your schedule now. Close your eyes and take five minutes to escape to your “happy place” in your mind. Add in that sweetness throughout the day. Don’t push your joy for one big event. Incorporate it into the day-to-day.
I want to hear your story. Not an echo of mine or a wish for what isn’t. No excuses.
What is the story you are writing into your future?
Thanks, Kayla! Yes, I love to highlight how awesome the different personality styles are, and how they play on each other to bring out the best in each of us. So glad you guys started taking action for the life you want – the more you speak it into reality, the easier it is to take action and make it happen. 🙂
During the Personality seminar at this weekend’s rally, the fact that only 11 percent of the population are High D’s, and as much as I do wish I had more of this, I thought to myself how lucky I am to get to share life with my High D husband!
Without him, I would coast through life on a mediocre, status-quo pace. Yes, we *wish* we were more mobile, but that didn’t stop him/us from starting the process and enjoying pieces of the mobile life while we wait for all the details to fall in to place. 😉
Thanks for all you share! <3
Thank YOU for always commenting and sharing!
Well said, Ashley! It really does start with intention. Thank you for the wonderful message and inspiration.
