The Ultimate Resources for Entrepreneurs
Resources for entrepreneurs can be overwhelming - there is so much out there! As a marriage and family coach, this website is focused on the six key areas of intentional family: understanding personality, marriage/intimacy, parenting, minimalism, alternative education, and family adventure.
That being said, in order to make all these things happen, I need to have in my arsenal the best resources for entrepreneurs I can find! In the internet world, it can get really intimidating to figure out how to get started, so I've compiled my favorite online, physical, and personal development resources to thrive in my entrepreneurial business. Hopefully these will inspire you and give you an easy button for developing your own entrepreneurial business!

Online Resources
The online world is intimidating. There is a ton to do and know. My first and foremost recommendation is this: don't do it all. This really goes back to knowing your personality style and how you tick. Focus in on the areas you really want to work on, and outsource the rest. Seriously, that's how you'll thrive. If you try to be a "jack of all trades..." you're master of none.
Now, my business is mainly virtual, and it's critical that I use programs and systems that help me run this smoothly. I'm sharing with you the ones that helped me so much as I started out...
Namaste Personality Snapshot
I have to start this list with the product I believe in so much, it's the core foundational component to all of my coaching.
Based on the DISC personality profiles, I've used these in business for the past 15 years - and have now created a variation to walk you through understanding yourself - and your family - better.
My forte is working with entrepreneurs and their families through my Family Portrait Sessions, and this key component is the key to open the door of awareness so you can truly thrive in your strengths - not only in your business, but in your home life as well! Learn more...
WordPress
First and foremost, you need a website! I'm a wordpress devotee. It's like Apple - I say if you don't know how to use a computer, get a Mac. If you do know how, get a Mac. WordPress is robust and versatile enough to handle massive websites with all kinds of functionality. And, it's great for beginners with so many easy options to get started! (plus you can youtube to learn about how to do just about anything in WP). Learn more...
Woo Commerce
If you want to sell things on your website, it can get intimidating fast. There are large platforms like Infusionsoft, Kajabi and ConvertKit that have shopping carts included - but when you're bootstrapping your business, this is where you can start with something small.
WooCommerce is super simple to set up a storefront, and best yet, you can start it all for free! If you're starting your store, definitely look at this option, and all the plugins that allow you to get crafty with it. Learn more...

At this point, it doesn't look like you can just purchase individual plugins, but the membership program gives you so much. I love Thrive Architect, Leads and Quiz Builder. Check it out - the videos are super detailed to make you an expert in Thrive in no time. Learn more...
MailChimp
If you haven't signed up for the Mama Says Namaste newsletter, be sure to do so and you can see Mailchimp in action! I love Mailchimp for it's cheekiness, easy to use capabilities, and how well it integrates with everything else I do. This is perfect for people just starting out with a smaller subscriber list. Once you get to about 2500 subscribers, you may want to move to a more robust CRM, like Kajabi. But for smaller lists, it's my absolute favorite! Learn more...
MiloTree
This has been one of the easiest things to add to my website, ever! You simply sign up, enter in your social media channels, and voila - it pops up on your site and allows people an easy way to subscribe to all your social media outlets. Learn more...
Social Warfare
This has been one of the top recommended plug-ins for sharing social media on your WordPress Site. It's great to work with and stays current with updates. My only beef is it doesn't have Instagram as an option on it, but since Insta is intended only as an app and not for web sharing, this covers all your web share social media links. Learn more...
Tailwind
I use Tailwind for all my pinning on Pinterest - it is such a great way to batch them out for the week vs. pinning individually every day. Later.com is another one that is great for scheduling - however Tailwind is so robust it affords you so much ability to connect and collaborate with others to really share in a strategic way through Tailwind Tribes. It does an incredible job, and I highly recommend it! Learn more...
SiteGround
I've switched over to SiteGround as my web server and had a HUGE leap in my speed on my site, going from a 7 second load time to only 3 - that was so, so worth it just for this alone! Not only that, the customer service is excellent and the affiliate program is super sweet! Learn more...
Gadgets and Gizmos
There are some things that are just helpful to have if you're working on a computer doing anything. These are the items I take with me to work from anywhere.

Living in a 240 sq. ft. travel trailer, I needed something small and versatile for a desk. Since I'm constantly moving around, it's great to have something portable that doesn't take up much space. This little desk does the trick, and at the affordable price, it was an easy buy. Learn more...
Selfie Light
Okay, before you roll your eyes, I am not a selfie fan. I am, however, a huge fan of great lighting for videos and pictures! I swear by this little light, and at around $10, it's completely worth it. I can put this on my computer for lighting for my coaching sessions I do on video, or put it on my phone for those FaceBook Lives. Learn more...
My Verizon Jetpack
This is my newest upgrade - the Novatel Verizon Wireless Jetpack 7730L 4G LTE Advanced Mobile Hotspot (how's that for a mouthful). According to my internet connection, this one is 2 models newer than the 6620L I was using before. Although that one gave me no issues, this one means I can pick up all five of Verizon's bandwidths, as opposed to only two with my 6620L. This has been super easy to use, and I can take it anywhere to work. Getting an unlimited data plan is much more tricky... Learn more...
ATR2100 Microphone
This handy-dandy microphone is highly recommended as the perfect "starter" mic for podcasting. In all honesty, there are some big players in the podcast arena that still love and swear by this mic. It's the best for the price, for sure! Nathan and I use just one of these for our Mama Says Namaste podcast, and it's been perfect! Learn more...

Regardless of all the resources for entrepreneurs to get your business rolling, the most critical component is that you are always growing and learning. There is such power in having a growth mindset in your business, and remaining teachable is key!
